Claire Joins Cast Of New Musical Comedy ’Operation Mincemeat’ At Southwark Playhouse

Claire has joined the cast of Spitlip’s award-winning musical ‘Operation Mincemeat’ for their already sold out run at the Southwark Playhouse in January 2020.

Operation Mincemeat is Singin’ in the Rainmeets Strangers on a Train, Noel Fielding meets Noel Coward. The fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II. The question is, how did a well-dressed corpse wrong-foot Hitler?

Operation Mincemeat has been nominated for ‘Best Ensemble in a New Production of a Play or Musical’ at the Broadway World Awards 2019 and for five Off West End Awards including Best New Musical, Best Company Ensemble, Best Set Design, Best Musical Director and Best Sound Design. The team also recently took home the prestigious Stage Debut Award for “Best Composer/Lyricist.”

The musical is commissioned by New Diorama Theatre, co-commissioned The Lowry. It is supported by the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, with additional support from Avalon.

Claire will play character Jean for the ten show run, alongside David Cumming, Natasha Hodgson, Zoe Roberts (who all make up Spitlip alongside Musical Director Felix Hagen) and Jak Malone.
