Claire is an accomplished singer who has been gigging and performing at concerts since she was in her teens. Spotted on BBC Wales talent show ‘Just Up Your Street’, she was asked to join 12-piece function band ‘John Oliver Live’ as one of their four lead vocalists; the youngest band member by far at the age of 16. One of the most successful showbands of it’s time, Claire travelled the UK with the band performing at prestigious venues such as The Grovesnor House Ballroom, Old Trafford, The Landmark Hotel and The Natural History Museum to name but a few, as well as regular stints at luxury hotel resort The Celtic Manor in her hometown of Newport.
Claire continues to sing frequently with a number of function bands in between theatrical contracts. She is one of the original members of newly formed 11 piece band The XL and regularly sings with 5-piece London based band VIVID. Claire has also recently performed with 4-piece bands The Honeymooners and The Altitudes, diva girl trio The Goldstone Girls, 50’s/60’s girl group The Lovettes, undercover entertainment company Secret Singers and DJ/live entertainment combo Stylus Live.
Aside from gigs, Claire’s cabaret and concert performances include 'With A Song In My Heart' - The British Heart Foundation Gala Concert (St David's Hall), 'Live and Upfront' (London Palladium), ‘House Of Broadway’ with girl group Harmony (Wales Millennium Centre), supporting artist for Filipino pop star Sharon Cunetta (Wembley Arena), ‘Zara Nunn Live At Zedel’ (Crazy Coqs, Brasserie Zedel), Just Up Your Street (BBC One Wales) and Champion Children (ITV) to name a few.
